Week 1: Being together
New year is time of new beginnings. We set our intention for ourselves and things we would like to accomplish. A simple way is to invite friends or neighbors over for a meal. Let your guests feel at home. Create an environment filled with simplicity... an easy meal or just a tea and dessert. Maybe a brunch where everyone can bring an item. These are the moments that bring us even closer to each other.

Our New Year's Day was spend eating fantastic food in great company. We were invited, along with seven families (yes, kids and adults), to make Chinese dumplings. The atmosphere was uplifting and definitely telling of the possibilities for the new year ahead.
