Autumn decor inspirations

The autumn season is officially here. It is that time of the year when most gardens start looking a bit tired and worn down by the heat of the summer and all the seasonal transitions. Here are some inspirations to really bring your front door to life with some very simple decorating. These are the last moments of this year you can use outdoor plants to keep your curb appeal alive.

I like the fact that the upcoming cold months can bring you indoors. Wrap yourself up in a cozy blanket by the fire, bring in your firewood, get a book or two or three and plan for next year. Think of your ideas for the next paint color for your front door, which will make a great personal statement, for a new layout and additions to the front garden, or easy ways to make your house into a home.

I hope you find some joy and inspiration here and now.

I love the color palette. The plants are speaking volumes and the pumpkins are just to set the mood.

More of a warmer, southern decor but lovely with elevated lines, the perfect complimentary mix of colors, and both sharp and soft shapes

Orange is the color of the fall season. Everything else compliments it (natural color of field stone with rawness of wood door.

Bright colors of pumpkins and mums bring the sage colored double doors to a new level. A hint of purple sage just accentuates the contrasting colors.

A pumpkin can be a planter too!

Absolutely simple and lovely

Purple and white cabbages are the stars, which contrast the lovely wood stain and make a great backdrop and to all the warm colors.

Clean and simple. Green and orange against the base of white and black.

What is left of summer gets a new life with new additions, pumpkins, mums and a fall wreath.
